Press creates racial issues not Clinton

Could the persons reporting Hillary Clinton comments concerning Rev Wright saying "he would not have been her pastor " would please stop putting off their personal believes onto Hillary? Let's say that all involved were all black or white or green for that matter. Now does her answer sound racial. NO! So it's not Hillary talking about race, the reporters are listening through their own race-based beliefs.

Or even worse would be that these reporters are looking for a hot, combative issue. After not taking part in the debate concerning Obama’s pastor, Hillary finally makes one comment and the press made it a racial response that way they had something "interesting" to write.

Please stop making up issues. We have enough real problems out there that the reporters should not have time to play these political games. This is a lazy way of doing their jobs. It's like when they take a press release from a campaign and report it as news. Lazy!!

We, the public, will be interested in the truth, the real problems and what the candidate’s solutions to these real problems. Try it. It may take us a while to get used to real reporting that we can trust but, once we believe, we will respond!
Story from a Texas cacuse attendee:

"I was undecided for months until I realized that anyone can see the changes we need in our country.Hillary is the only candidate coming up with the solutions we need like:

A Plan to make new jobs
A plan to freeze mortgage foreclosures
A plan to get the troops out of Iraq
A plan to get health care to everyone

These plans address the three most important problems that need changing: the growing economic situation, ending the war in Iraq, and lack of available healthcare for all!See, I can even see the changes we need and I'm not even running for president! It's that easy. A candidate listing changes we need or Hillary Clinton delivering solution to these needs."

I am a committed supporter -- Making Calls!

I am a committed supporter -- Making Calls!

Not to toot my own horn, but I have to say I am a committed supporter of Hillary Clinton. Four week ago I was fighting a very sick stomach, if you know what I mean. Three weeks ago, I ended up in the hospital for the 6 days. Last week I spent going to doctor appointments because they wanted to do a rather intrusive test on me. What choice did I have.

So I had a lovely weekend prepping for the test. The test was a colonoscopy. For those of you who do not know what a colonoscopy is, don t feel alone. The only thing I know about it was that Katie Curick had one on done and taped it for TV.

So here comes the point. The afternoon I came home from the hospital, I started making calls. I made more calls that day than any other. Why you ask? I had no idea.. I m guessing that I was so glad not to have to spend my whole day in the bathroom.

Later that night I realized why I kept calling. It was actually making me feel better. I was calling Pennsylvania and most of the folks were either leaning towards Hillary or were defiantly supporting her. I had made many a call to states were the responses were not near as positive.

So, now is the fun time. Pennsylvania looking good. Now is the time to make a difference in our country.

Another Blogger bites the dust Hillary's site

This was a blog from the hillaryclinton.com web site. Things are going out of control or maybe I should say control has gone to their heads. They hardly let you write anything anymore. Well, you can write anything here with the few exceptions of racial or anti-women crap. That's out of here. See below for similar blogger:

"I think we are being sensored. I too have been frustrated by the blocking of us bloggers yet the fundraising machine still works. Don't get me wrong, I still donate, which I did again yesterday, but I have considered moving on.

I started a blog: http://poltclanml.blogspot.com/ and have had no limits on my language/opinions. I don't use profanity but I am opinionated and do use frank language (nothing racial). I have tried the Hillaryclinton forum but have not had much success loggin in and posting.

If you provide a link to your blog I will comment and vice versa. I am not having much success getting traffic to my blog. Any suggestions to increase trafic?"

Presidential Primary Important In PA For Once!

Presidential Primary important in PA for once!
Come on now, we all know that the primary system up til now was just a formality as far as the presidential race has been concerned for Pennsylvania. How did they become the king maker in 2008?

Well, Pennsylvania, how does it feel to finally have a major say as to who becomes the party's nominee? There is a great deal of responsibility that comes with this honor you have been given. All the rest of us ask is that you do your homework. Go beyond the speeches and made for TV sound bits. Watch the debate were the candidates will have to rely on their own wits and hopefully get beyond their own talking points. Think of what's important to you and who's hands you want to place these into.

I don't want to tell you how to vote, but I want you to know that the country understands how important your vote is. OK, yes, I really hope you vote for Hillary but that's not what this one is about, alright!

Don't say anything about Obama!

I have been saying this for months. The idea that a Democrat primary candidate mentions some possibly controversial issue is what the whole process is about during the primary. Do people really think the Republicans would not be bright enough to do the same research that the primary opponents would do? And if we don’t get out our dirty laundry first, the republicans will get to claim we were hiding something.
And do we really want to pick a near unknown person that had no vetting as the nominee of the party? We would be sure to lose. The campaign would be spent explaining votes and speeches from 20 years ago. This is the time for these kinds of discoveries.
Obama’s team cries foul every time Hillary mentions something about their candidate. This worries me. If they can’t take these easy issues, what’s going to happen when the Republicans come after him.
Hillary Clinton is an open book. They have nothing to come at her with now. That means they will have to talk about the issues and on the issues we win!!

Meeting the Former President For the First Time!

I have to admit it. I was jazzed over the prospect of seeing the Man himself, President William Jefferson Clinton, in the flesh. He was here in Corpus Christi to start off the early voting effort for the Clinton campaign. He was scheduled to come by the newly opened Hillary for President headquarters at 9:30pm for a "get out the vote" pep talk. He also talked about that uniquely Texan tasks of voting twice. They vote once in the primary and once at the caucus later that night. See, that saying of everything is bigger in Texas is true, even when it comes to voting.
So, the former president was supposed to be at the headquarters at 9:30pm that means to get a seat we would have to leave at 5:00pm. Unbelievable I was on time and ready to go with excitement. We arrived and the parking lot was already full. Chris let me out of the car to run in and get two seats and luckily she did. As I walked into the hall, there were only two seats to be had and I got them both.
It’s 5:30pm and we have our seats. What to do with the next 4 hours. How about finned for our lives. That would take up the time. Not yet as this is the calm before the storm. I ran around and took picture cause that’s just my thing and Chris visited with to folks around our seats. About 8:00pm everything changed. The crowd realized that Clinton we going to be speaking in the room next to the one we were waiting in. Slowly but surely, the crowd migrated toward the door. 10 different lines formed to get in. I, like all the other sheep, got in a line. They announced the move to the next room where there were a few chairs for the disabled and all at once the whole room pushed toward the door. My only concern we getting a chair for Chris.
They started letting folks into a room that was basically the same size as the one we were moving from. I let the flow take me to the door and as soon as I was in I headed toward the chairs.
They all seem to be taken except for one. While many people were standing around looking down at it no one was making a move for it. Maybe it is like that thing that makes us not want be the one to take the last piece of cake or french fry or whatever. Not me! I was all over it. And this seat was not in the back of the room. They were about ten feet from the place where Mr. Clinton would be speaking. God has once again looked out for me. (Just Kidding)
Chris takes the seat and I continue taking candid shots around the room. I found that as the minutes ticked off the clock, more and more people we entering the room and movement became almost impossible. I know I had to try and make my way back to Chris and our seat or I would be taking pictures of the back of peoples heads instead of the former president. Needless to say I didn’t make any friends in the process but I made it back. And luck beyond all luck, the lady next to Chris decides to leave. So there I was, in the third row from the platform, everyone sitting down in front of me and lastly my trusty camera. Plenty of room on the memory card and an extra battery. I was ready. All the time and effort paid off. All the pushing and shoving and the heat. The room was like one big exhale, no O2 and lots of heat
9:30 came and went and no Bill. He was running late, no surprise for a politician. Close to 10:00 o’clock is when it started happening. I feel faint and sick to my stomach. I tried to fight it off but by 10:30 I could not take it anymore.
So they took me out the same way the President was suppose to enter. That’s as close as I could come after waiting 5 hours. There must have been as many people or more outside waiting to catch a glimpse of the man. As I was escorted to the barrier tape, I thought maybe I would stand out there but no, not tonight. As I entered my car I heard a roar go up near the street. He was here.
Chris took lots of picture for me though.
My comments:
If you have already voted in your state or in early voting, you can still make a huge difference by making calls to people who have not voted yet. This is the great way to continue to help Hillary to the white house.
If you do not want to make calls you can always make a contribution. Go to HillaryClinton.com.
